We train and support users to work optimally with the user-friendly solutions, such as surveying surveying equipment and software for digital surveying, processing, visualisation and sharing of geo-information.

We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our sales team in Belgium & Luxembourg.

Function:

  • The Sales Engineer is responsible for his/her own customer portfolio in the Land Surveying, Construction and Infra segments in Belgium and Luxembourg.
  • As Sales Engineer, you provide service to existing customers and build long-term relationships with both customers and suppliers and sector organisations.
  • Besides keeping existing customers happy, you eagerly look for opportunities to attract new customers.
  • You identify customer needs and act proactively and professionally in recommending and selling products, programmes and services.
  • You also propose concrete solutions to the clientele by providing technical information, guidance and demonstrations of the products.
  • You develop a personal sales plan annually to achieve profitable sales growth.
  • You participate in sales meetings and report to the Sales Manager on the status of your customer portfolio and prospecting activities.
  • Furthermore, you plan targeted marketing actions and campaigns and attend trade fairs where networking is central.

Profile:

  • You have a higher technical education in Land Surveying or Geodesy, Civil Engineering or Construction.
  • You are technically strong with computers and can give software and hardware demonstrations to customers.
  • You have sales experience within a related field.
  • Customer focus is key for you.
  • You also have a strong will to win and are result-oriented.
  • You are a self-motivator and enjoy both telephone and face-to-face conversations.
  • You are fluent in Dutch, French and English.
  • Travelling within the Benelux is not a problem for you (driving license B).

In addition, on the one hand, an existing sales experience with geospatial products such as surveying equipment, drones, laser scanning, CAD, data collection, GIS and other market- or segment-related products and on the other hand, experience with surveying equipment from other hardware suppliers and CAD/GIS solutions such as Autocad, Civil3D, Pythagoras, Revit and ArcGIS are a plus.
