Geodirect is aware that you place your trust in us. We therefore see it as our responsibility to protect your privacy. In this privacy statement we let you know which data we process.

Personal data that we process
Geodirect processes personal data that you actively provide to us because you use our services, either before concluding an agreement or necessary for the execution of an agreement. Geodirect respects your privacy and ensures that the personal information you provide is treated confidentially. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

  • First and last name;
  • Gender;
  • Business (mobile) telephone number;
  • Business e-mail address;
  • Position;
  • Other personal data that you actively provide, for example by using a form on our website and other forms of correspondence or telephone contact.

For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data
Geodirect processes your personal data, necessary at your request before concluding an agreement and for the execution of an agreement, for the following purposes:

  • Providing (purchase) advice;
  • Sending a quote;
  • Execution of an order, including the delivery of goods, services and processing your payment;
  • To inform you about product updates and changes to our services;
  • To be able to call or e-mail you when necessary to carry out our services;
  • Geodirect also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data that we need for the tax return;
  • We may also use your personal data for internal purposes such as audits, data analysis and research to improve the products, services and communications.

How long we keep personal data
Geodirect does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which your data is collected.

Sharing personal data with third parties
Geodirect does not sell your data to third parties and only provides it if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We conclude a processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Geodirect remains responsible for these processing operations.

View, modify or delete data
You are at all times entitled to view, correct or delete your personal data. You can send a request for access, correction or deletion of your personal data via the contact form. In order to establish with certainty that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to enclose a copy of your proof of identity with the request. In order to protect your privacy, we hereby ask you to make your passport photo, MRZ, passport number and citizen service number (BSN) illegible in this copy. Geodirect will respond to your request as soon as possible, within a period of four weeks. Geodirect would also like to point out that you have the option to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Geodirect only uses technical, functional and analytical cookies that do not infringe on your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit our website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the website and your ease of use. They ensure that the website functions properly and can be optimised. Geodirect is not responsible or liable for the cookie use of third-party websites to which you as a visitor can link or of the social media channels, including YouTube, Twitter, Linkedin, and Facebook.

How we protect personal data
Geodirect takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. We communicate our privacy and security guidelines to all Geodirect employees and maintain strict measures within the company to ensure the security of your personal data.
