Geodirect is aware that you place your trust in us. We therefore see it as our responsibility to protect your privacy. In this privacy statement, we inform you which data we process.

Personal data we process
Geodirect processes personal data that you actively provide to us because you use our services, either prior to concluding an agreement or as necessary for the execution of an agreement. Geodirect respects your privacy and ensures that the personal information you provide is treated confidentially. Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process:

• First and last name;
• Gender;
• Business (mobile) phone number;
• Business email address;
• Job title;
• Other personal data that you actively provide, for example by using a form on our website and other forms of correspondence or telephone contact.

For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data
Geodirect processes your personal data, as necessary at your request prior to concluding an agreement and for the execution of an agreement, for the following purposes:

• Providing (purchase) advice;
• Sending a quotation;
• Execution of an order, including the delivery of goods and services and processing your payment;
• Informing you about product updates and changes to our services;
• To be able to call or email you if necessary to perform our services;
• Geodirect also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data we need for tax returns;
• We may also use your personal data for internal purposes such as audits, data analysis, and research to improve products, services, and communication.

How long we retain personal data
Geodirect does not retain your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected.

Sharing personal data with third parties
Geodirect does not sell your data to third parties and only provides it if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We conclude a processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Geodirect remains responsible for these processing operations.

Accessing, adjusting, or deleting data
You are entitled at all times to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can send a request for access, correction, or deletion of your personal data via the contact form. To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, we ask you to black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone), passport number, and citizen service number (BSN) to protect your privacy. Geodirect will respond to your request as soon as possible, within a period of four weeks. Geodirect would also like to point out that you have the option to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Geodirect only uses technical, functional, and analytical cookies that do not infringe on your privacy. Geodirect takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized modification. We communicate our privacy and security guidelines to all Geodirect employees and maintain stringent measures within the company to safeguard the security of your personal data.
